The orchestra will feature works by Shostakovich, Mahler, Tchaikovsky, and pioneering American composer William Grant Still.

The orchestra will perform a work by trailblazing American composer, Mother and Child by William Grant Still, the chamber orchestra version of Shostakovich’s String Quartet No. 8 and other pieces by Mahler and Tchaikovsky.

Patrons should plan on arriving 45 minutes early to experience Artful Moments: Creative Highlights from the School of Visual Arts and Design. Features including curated clips, interviews, photos, exhibitions, events and more will premiere before each live performance.
