Percussion Festival: High School Percussion Ensemble Showcase

A day of workshops with university and high school students culminates in a giant celebration of percussion featuring the music of percussionist and composer Michael Burritt (Director of Percussion Studies at the Eastman School of Music). The High School Percussion Ensemble Showcase will feature the following groups:

2:30 p.m. Freedom High School — Christina Torrez, director
3:30 p.m. West Orange High School — Jonathan Cooper, director
4:30 p.m. Tarpon Springs High School — Todd Leighton, director
5:30 p.m. University High School — Jeff Willis, director

No ticket is needed for this event, however a Hall Pass or ticket to another performance that same day is needed to enter the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.
